How it works (tech notes)
  • For each painted block, the average RGB of that block's pixels is computed, then a filled rect of that color is drawn over the block.
  • Brush centers snap to a block grid (based on block size) for clean tiling and consistent mosaic.
  • Canvas size equals the image's natural size for true pixel accuracy; CSS scales it responsively.
