Load an image with a mostly solid background color (green/blue/white/black).
Key color is the backdrop you want to remove. Pick a preset or use the color input.
Tolerance widens the color match: higher values remove more shades of the key color.
Feather softens the edge by gradually ramping alpha at the boundary (in pixels).
Apply runs the chroma-key. Reset restores the original image pixels.
Download PNG saves with transparency preserved.

Edge cases & notes

The algorithm uses Euclidean distance in RGB space: dist = √((r-kr)²+(g-kg)²+(b-kb)²).
Pixels with dist < tolerance are fully transparent. Between tolerance and tolerance+feather, alpha ramps from 0→255.
Uneven lighting/shadows may require higher tolerance and a small feather (1-3px) for cleaner edges.
This simple keyer works best on solid backgrounds; complex/varied backdrops may need pro tools.
