Transparency: Standard BMP (24-bit) doesn't support alpha. Transparent PNG pixels are flattened onto your chosen background color.
Color depth: This tool writes 24-bit uncompressed BMP (BGR). It's widely compatible with legacy software.
Row padding: BMP rows are padded to 4-byte boundaries. File sizes are typically larger than PNG.
DPI: Optional. If set, it populates BMP X/Y pixels-per-meter; many viewers infer DPI from that value.
Privacy: Everything runs in your browser. No files are uploaded.
How output size is chosen
If both width & height are set, the image is scaled to those exact dimensions.
If only one dimension is set, the other is computed from the source aspect ratio.
If neither is set, the source PNG dimensions are used.
