Lossless PNG: PNG is lossless; file size may be larger than JPG. Resize down to reduce size.
Transparency: Converting JPG ? PNG does not create transparency (JPG has none). Background stays opaque.
Resizing: Set width and/or height. If one is blank, the other is computed to preserve aspect ratio.
Orientation: Many cameras store EXIF orientation. This tool attempts to respect it when supported.
Color profiles: Browsers typically convert to sRGB on canvas; subtle shifts are possible.
Privacy: All work is in your browser; images are not uploaded.
How output size is chosen
If both width & height are set, the image is stretched to that exact size.
If only one is set, the other is computed from the input aspect ratio.
If neither is set, the original JPG dimensions are used.
