Multi-size ICO: Many ICOs bundle multiple images; this tool uses the largest one.
Transparency: WebP supports alpha; transparency is preserved automatically.
Sizing: Set width or height (or both). If one is blank, the other is computed from aspect ratio. Scale multiplies the intrinsic size when both are blank.
Quality: WebP quality (0-100). 80-95 is a good balance for favicons/UI icons.
Browser support: Decoding .ico via canvas is widely supported in Chromium-based browsers; other engines may vary.

How the source size is chosen

If the ICO advertises multiple images, the tool asks the browser to decode and reports the decoded bitmap size.
If the ICO cannot be decoded natively, you'll see an error. Try another browser or convert the ICO to PNG first.
