Rectangle volume = L × W × D (use ft & in for US, m & cm for Metric).
Circle volume = π × (Ø/2)² × D (Ø = diameter).
Unit conversions: 1 yd³ = 27 ft³; 1 m³ ≈ 35.3147 ft³; 1 m³ ≈ 1.30795 yd³. 12 in = 1 ft; 100 cm = 1 m.
Density presets (typical, loose): Pea ≈ 1.40 t/yd³, River ≈ 1.50 t/yd³, Crushed ≈ 1.60 t/yd³. Damp/compacted may weigh more.
Waste / overfill: add 5–10% for grading, voids, and settlement.
Bags estimate: 1 short ton = 2000 lb → 50 lb bags ≈ pounds ÷ 50.
