* Many schools cap A+ at 4.0 on unweighted scales.
  • Unweighted (4.0): A=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3 … F=0.0; A+ typically capped at 4.0.
  • Honors weighting: +0.5 to passing grades up to max 4.5.
  • AP/IB/Dual weighting: +1.0 to passing grades up to max 5.0.
  • GPA with credits: Σ(points×credits) ÷ Σ(credits).
  • Bulk text format: A 3, B+ 4, A-, one per line.
  • CSV format: grade,credits or just grade.
Notes & edge cases
  • Invalid tokens are skipped and reported; F always maps to 0.0 even with weighting.
  • If your institution uses a different scale, we can add a custom profile.
